There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Sestu (6-9) won against at home higher ranked Roma S.Azzurra (6-7) 59-53 on Saturday. Roma S.Azzurra was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for point guard Mauro Graviano (184-89) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Manuel Vanuzzo (203-75) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Cameroonian forward Philippe Bayehe (204-99) answered with 8 points and 8 rebounds and Lorenzo Donadio (190-1) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Roma S.Azzurra. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sestu moved-up to tenth place in B, which they share with Rimini and Lugo. Loser Roma S.Azzurra dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Sestu will face Isernia (#16) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
