Regular Season Round 11: Jazine - Kastela 91-70

Jazine can celebrate finally their first win this season after ten consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Kastela (0-10) 91-70. The game was mostly controlled by Jazine. Kastela was better in fourth quarter 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Kastela 42-25 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Slovenian point guard Mirza Sarajlija (187-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Forward Jurica Drazovic (201-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Jazine players scored in double figures. Matej Kljajic answered with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Aco Mandic (203-84) added 11 points in the effort for Kastela. Kastela's coach Luka Zitko gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Jazine (1-10) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place. It was Kastela's tenth loss in a row. Kastela at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with ten games lost. Jazine will play against higher ranked Split (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kastela will play against the league's second-placed KK Zadar (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
