There was no surprise in Tuebingen where 18th ranked Walter Tigers (1-13) were defeated by thirteenth ranked Braunschweig (6-8) 77-69 on Saturday. Braunschweig made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Walter Tigers turnovers. Walter Tigers were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American power forward Scott Eatherton (203-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard DeAndre Lansdowne (187-89, college: Fort Lewis) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Braunschweig players scored in double figures. Center Phillipp Heyden (206-88, agency: Athleadz) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Mathis Monninghoff (200-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: BeoBasket) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Braunschweig moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Walter Tigers stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost.
