Regular Season Round 20: Prievidza - Iskra Svit 67-68

The most exciting game of round 20 in the SBL took place in Prievidza. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th ranked Prievidza (11-9) to fourth ranked Iskra Svit (12-7) 68-67 in the game for the fourth place. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard A.J. Walton (184-90, college: Baylor, agency: Diamond Sports) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Pavol Losonsky (203-88, college: Cal-Irvine) who added 8 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Jamaican-British forward Ryan Martin (206-91, college: Tenn Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and American swingman Grant Sitton (206-93, college: Victoria) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Iskra Svit maintains fourth position with 12-7 record. Prievidza at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Rieker KN. Iskra Svit are looking forward to face league's leader Inter Bratislava on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Prievidza will play against Rieker KN (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
