Another exciting game was between fourth ranked Koeln Rh.Stars and 5th ranked Karlsruhe PS where Koeln Rh.Stars (11-5) beat Karlsruhe PS (10-6) on the road 76-72. Strangely Karlsruhe PS outrebounded Koeln Rh.Stars 38-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kavin Gilder-Tilbury (201-94, college: Texas St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard Jesse Morgan (196-91, college: Temple) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Naturalized American forward Jarelle Reischel (199-92, college: E.Kentucky) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Orlando Parker (203-91, college: Wagner) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Karlsruhe PS. Four Karlsruhe PS players scored in double figures. Koeln Rh.Stars moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Karlsruhe PS dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Heidelberg. Koeln Rh.Stars will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Karlsruhe PS will play at home against Phoenix Hagen (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
