Rather expected game when 7th ranked Mgzavrebi (4-8) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Batumi (7-5) 78-70. They made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Batumi outrebounded Mgzavrebi 38-23 including 28 on the defensive glass. American guard Spencer Collins (193-93, college: Wofford) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Ukrainian point guard Illya Shemosiuk (188-85) supported him with 13 points and 5 assists. Four Batumi players scored in double figures. Batumi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by international Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) did not help to save the game for Mgzavrebi.
