An interesting game took place in Urumqi where 6th ranked Leopards (14-8) were upset on the court of ninth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (13-9) 102-94 on Saturday. Xinjiang Flying Tige made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Dutt Sports Services) had a triple-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 11 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Gen Li (197-88) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Jared Sullinger (206-92, college: Ohio St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains ninth position with 13-9 record. Leopards lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will face Long-Lions (#10) in Guangzhou in the next round.
