There was a minor upset when 5th ranked BK Usti nad Labem (8-7) lost at home to seventh ranked BK Olomoucko (8-7) 83-79. The best player for the winners was American JC Fuller (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Slash Sports) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Charles Mitchell (203-93, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Evan Singletary (185-94, college: Albany) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BK Olomoucko moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Usti n/Labem and Svitavy. BK Olomoucko's next round opponent will be league's leader CEZ Nymburk at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Usti nad Labem will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and hope to win that game.
