Melbourne outgunned Perth away from home to punch the Grand Finals ticket. Boomers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Elizabeth Cambage (203-91) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Maddie Garrick (179) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Boomers players scored in double figures. American guard Courtney Williams (173-94, college: S.Florida) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and her fellow American import swingman Samantha Whitcomb (178-88, college: Washington) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
