Bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec (0-16) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 16th consecutive match to sixth ranked BK Usti nad Labem (9-7) 100-89 on Saturday evening. BK Usti nad Labem made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. BK Usti nad Labem outrebounded BK Lions Hradec 40-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for BK Usti nad Labem especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) fired 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Donald Robinson (193-89, college: W.Virginia Tech) chipped in 25 points (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). BK Usti nad Labem's coach Antonin Pistecky used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard De'Andre Upchurch (188-91, college: Tarleton St.) produced 23 points and Serbian point guard Edi Sinadinovic (193-88) added 12 points and 12 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BK Usti nad Labem moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Svitavy. Loser BK Lions Hradec still closes the standings. BK Usti nad Labem will meet at home NH Ostrava (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BK Lions Hradec will play against BK Olomoucko and hopes to get finally their first victory.
