Ninth-ranked USK Praha (6-10) gave a tough game to third ranked BK Pardubice (11-4). The visitors from Pardubice managed to secure only two-point victory 71-69. However their fans expected much easier game. BK Pardubice outrebounded USK Praha 43-25 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American forward Dominez Burnett (196-92, college: Davenport, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import guard Scott Martin (203-88, college: Notre Dame, agency: HMS) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Cadarian Raines (206-90, college: Virginia Tech) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and international swingman Michal Mares (193-92) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for USK Praha. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. BK Pardubice have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. USK Praha lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. BK Pardubice's next round opponent will be BK Decin (#6) at home. USK Praha will play against MMCITE Brno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
