Regular Season Round 16: Lecco - Rimini 69-68

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Rimini (6-10) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Lecco (11-5) 69-68 on Sunday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a very good performance for power forward Jacopo Balanzoni (204-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. Alberto Cacace (198-96) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Guard Paolo Busetto (192-96) replied with 16 points and 5 assists and guard Joel Myers (185-95) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Rimini. Four Rimini players scored in double figures. Lecco maintains fourth position in B with 11-5 record. Loser Rimini keeps the twelfth place with ten games lost. Lecco will face league's second-placed Piacenza on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Rimini will play against Vicenza (#5) and hope to win that game.
