Regular Season Round 16: Cerignola Udas - Campli 67-81

Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Cerignola Udas (5-11) lost at home to fourth ranked Campli (10-6) 81-67 on Sunday. Campli shot 63.6 percent from the field and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a very good performance for guard Federico Burini (191-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Gianluca Di-Carmine (200-86) contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Nunzio Sabbatino (188-92, agency: Players Group) replied with 21 points and 4 assists and forward Giovanni Gambarota (190-89) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Cerignola Udas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Campli moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Vicenza. Newly promoted Cerignola Udas keep the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. Campli will face Perugia (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Cerignola Udas will play against Giulianova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
