Very important is a road loss of third ranked Vysocina (8-5) against seventh ranked GBA Sparta (5-7) on Sunday night. Visiting Vysocina was defeated by GBA Sparta in a tough game in Praha 66-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vysocina. They outrebounded Vysocina 48-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. J Dombek notched 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Marek Welsch (180-99) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. GBA Sparta's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds by center Pavel Ciha (201-92) did not help to save the game for Vysocina. Guard Miroslav Krajcigr (178-94) added 15 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. GBA Sparta have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position in West with 5-7 record. Vysocina at the other side dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. GBA Sparta's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Praha to the arena Sokol Zizkov.
