Regular Season Round 11: Moscavide - Benfica B 50-71

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Benfica B (6-5) smashed on the road 8th ranked Moscavide (1-10) 71-50 on Sunday. Benfica B had a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Moscavide was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for power forward Goncalo Delgado (204-98) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Pedro Lanca (184-99) helped adding 22 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Point guard Ricardo Robalo (165-84) responded with 15 points and power forward Paulo Balde (-96) scored 8 points. Moscavide's coach Jose Abrantes gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Benfica B moved-up to third place in South, which they share with Belenenses CF. Moscavide lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Benfica B will face Angrabasket (#7) at home in the next round. Moscavide will play against Academica and hope to win that game.
