Very expected game when 9th ranked Thor Thorl (4-9) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Njardvik (8-5) 102-92. The game was mostly controlled by Njardvik. Thor Thorl was better in third quarter 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Terrell Vinson (201-90, college: Massachusetts, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 15-of-18 shooting from the field). The former international Logi Gunnarsson (190-81) contributed with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard DJ Balentine (191-93, college: Evansville, agency: Inception Sports) answered with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard David-Arnar Agustsson (195-96) added 18 points in the effort for Thor Thorl. Five Thor Thorl players scored in double figures. Njardvik maintains fifth place with 8-5 record. Thor Thorl lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. Njardvik's next round opponent will be Stjarnan (#8) on the road. Thor Thorl will play against the league's leader Haukar and hope to win that game.
