Regular Season Round 24: Tsmoki II - Tsmoki-Minsk 60-86

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Tsmoki-Minsk (#1) and Tsmoki II (#6). Tsmoki II was smashed at home by 26 points 60-86 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by Tsmoki-Minsk. Tsmoki II managed to win third quarter 22-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 21 Tsmoki II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for forward Kiryl Chumakov (197-95) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Andrei Rohazenka (183-97) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Point guard Maksim Korattsou (171-98) replied with 16 points and point guard Vladislau Bliznyk (181-99) added 9 points in the effort for Tsmoki II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tsmoki-Minsk have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-2 record, which they share with Grodno-93. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk is looking forward to face Prinemanye (#7) in Grodno in the next round where they are favorite. Tsmoki II will play at home against COR-Borisfen and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
