The game in Lviv supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Hoverla (10-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Politekhn.Lvov (2-10). Hoverla smashed Politekhn.Lvov 98-64 on Saturday. Hoverla dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Politekhn.Lvov's 34. Hoverla forced 19 Politekhn.Lvov turnovers and outrebounded them 45-19 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Hoverla looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a very good performance for Oleksandr Biella (200-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Yevgen Koroviyakov (199-88) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Hoverla players scored in double figures. Guard Andriy Gutsaliuk (192-96) answered with 23 points and Artem Solovey added 16 points and 9 assists in the effort for Politekhn.Lvov. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hoverla maintains second place with 10-2 record having just three points less than leader Dinamo. Loser Politekhn.Lvov keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Hoverla will have a break next round. Politekhn.Lvov will play again at home against the league's second-placed Hoverla (#2) and hope to win that game.
