Regular Season Round 17: J.Hradec - BK Olomoucko 86-96

Bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec (0-17) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 96-86 loss to eighth ranked BK Olomoucko (9-8) in J.Hradec on Saturday evening. They made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. BK Olomoucko outrebounded BK Lions Hradec 39-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. American JC Fuller (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (was perfect 16-for-16 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and his fellow American import forward Charles Mitchell (203-93, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. American guard De'Andre Upchurch (188-91, college: Tarleton St.) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 4 assists and power forward Stanislav Zuzak (204-80, college: Cal-Irvine) scored 19 points. BK Lions Hradec's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BK Olomoucko moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Svitavy. BK Lions Hradec lost their seventeenth game in a row. They still close the standings. BK Olomoucko will meet at home higher ranked BK Opava (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Lions Hradec will play against NH Ostrava (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
