An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Skopje. First ranked Rabotnicki faced 4th ranked Kumanovo. Host Rabotnicki (12-1) defeated guests from Kumanovo (7-5) 81-77. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kumanovo. They outrebounded Kumanovo 43-25 including a 21-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kumanovo was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American swingman Marcus Ginyard (196-87, college: N.Carolina, agency: HMS) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. The former international power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Dimitar Karadjovski (190-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) added 12 points and 7 assists in the effort for Kumanovo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rabotnicki have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-1 record. Kumanovo at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Rabotnicki will play against Feni Industries (#6) in Kavadarci in the next round where they are favorite. Kumanovo will play at home against Ohrid AV and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
