The game in Trutnov supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Basketball Nymburk (13-2) played at the court of 8th ranked LOKO Trutnov (3-11). Basketball Nymburk smashed LOKO Trutnov 98-65. They outrebounded LOKO Trutnov 41-29 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American swingman Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) who led her team to a victory with 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). Belgian center Kyara Linskens (189-96, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 6 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Portuguese guard Michelle Brandao (178-91, college: ODU) answered with 9 points and 4 assists and Katerina Kozumplikova (174-93) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for LOKO Trutnov. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Basketball Nymburk. They maintain second place with 13-2 record having just two points less than leader USK Praha. LOKO Trutnov lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Basketball Nymburk's next round opponent will be Zabiny Brno (#6) at home. LOKO Trutnov will play against the league's leader USK Praha and hope to win that game.
