Important game to mention about took place in Arkadia. Fourteenth ranked Arkadikos (3-10) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 15th ranked Doukas (2-11) 76-74 on Saturday evening. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a very good performance for Swedish guard Jordan Peltier (193-95) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists. Center Savvas Tsougarakis (207-86) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Arkadikos' coach Tzimis Koustenis used entire bench in such tough game. Guard Alexis Kiritsis (198-82) answered with 27 points and center Manolis Koukoulas (209-91) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Doukas. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Arkadikos moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Karditsas. Loser Doukas dropped to the bottom position with 11 games lost. Arkadikos will face higher ranked Holargos (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Doukas will play against Ermis Agias (#7) and hope to win that game.
