Regular Season Round 14: Rogaska - Bosna-Royal 80-64

There was no surprise in Rogaska Slatina where 11th ranked Bosnian Bosna-Royal (4-10) was defeated by sixth ranked Slovenian Rogaska (8-6) 80-64 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was American guard Rashun Davis (180-93, college: Radford) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Miha Fon (193-84, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Montenegrin center Maksim Sturanovic (210-88, agency: 011 Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and guard Drasko Knezevic (185-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rogaska moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Zrinjski HT. Loser Bosna-Royal keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost. Rogaska will face higher ranked Krka (#4) in Novo Mesto in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bosna-Royal will play at home against Dynamic BG (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
