Regular Season Round 14: Naestved - Horsholm 85-67

The most important game in the last round took place in Naestved between third ranked Horsholm (9-5) and fourth ranked Naestved (9-6) on Thursday night. Horsholm was defeated by Naestved on the road 85-67. The game was mostly controlled by Naestved. Horsholm managed to win third quarter 14-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naestved looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was British guard Conner Washington (183-92) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. American swingman J.J. Mann (198-91, college: Belmont, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Matt Bonds (196, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) produced 22 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian forward Tosin Mehinti (206-94, college: UAB) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naestved maintains fourth position with 9-6 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Naestved will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Horsholm will play at home against the league's leader Horsens IC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
