Regular Season Round 6: Chargers - Rockets 48-69

NPBA top team - Rockets (7-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Chargers (0-8) 69-48. It was a good game for the former international power forward Eugene Bain (195-88, college: Bellevue) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Dominique Beadle (193) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Rockets' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Brandon Adderley replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and Randy Miller added 7 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Chargers. Rockets have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Newly promoted Chargers still closes the standings with eight games lost. Rockets' next round opponent will be Rebels (#4). Chargers will play against the Bahamas and hope to get finally their first victory.
