LEB Gold top team - Leche Rio Breogan (16-3) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Blancos de Rueda (10-9) in Lugo 96-74. The game without a history. Leche Rio Breogan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Blancos de Rueda's 36 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Leche Rio Breogan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international center Guillem Rubio (202-82) fired 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Cristian Diaz (185-92) chipped in 12 points. Four Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. Center Sergio De-La-Fuente (198-89) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Oscar Alvarado (184-91) added 8 points and 9 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leche Rio Breogan maintains first place with 16-3 record. Newly promoted Blancos de Rueda keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Leche Rio Breogan will meet league's second-placed CB Prat on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Blancos de Rueda will play against Cocinas.com (#17) and hope to secure a win.
