Rather predictable result when tenth ranked Oldenburg (7-10) smashed at home 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (3-14) 85-66 on Sunday. Oldenburg looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Naturalized Bosnian point guard Robert Drijencic (190-96) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and point guard Haris Hujic (193-97) chipped in 20 points and 6 assists. American guard Mike Holton-Jr (185-90, college: St.Michael's) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Bulgarian forward Georgi Boyanov (201-93, college: S.Alabama) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Oldenburg moved-up to eighth place in North, which they share with Rist Wedel and ETB Wohnbau. RSV Eintracht lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Oldenburg will face higher ranked AstroStars (#3) in Bochum in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. RSV Eintracht will play at home against SC Rist Wedel (#9) and hope to win that game.
