The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Slavoj BK Litomerice as it allowed them to take a leadership position in West. Slavoj BK Litomerice defeated one of their biggest challengers Vysocina at home 78-69. It was a key game for the top position in West. Slavoj BK Litomerice had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Vysocina's players. Worth to mention a great performance of center Martin Klimes (203-83, college: Vermont) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Jakub Zbroj (190-94) contributed with 16 points and 4 steals for the winners. Slavoj BK Litomerice's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Ondrej Manak (198-86) replied with 17 points and 8 rebounds and center Pavel Ciha (201-92) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Vysocina. Four Vysocina players scored in double figures. Slavoj BK Litomerice have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Vysocina and Basket Kosice. Vysocina will play next round against USK Praha B trying to get back on the winning streak. Slavoj BK Litomerice will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked BK Loko Plzen on the road.
