Regular Season Round 21: Pardinyes-L. - Castellbisbal 85-69

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Pardinyes-L. as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group C-B. Pardinyes-L. defeated 10th ranked Castellbisbal in Lleida 85-69. It looked good early as Castellbisbal took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Pardinyes-L. had a 24-16 second period charge getting the lead and Castellbisbal was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-85. They outrebounded Castellbisbal 38-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Forward Pol Domingo (198-90) stepped up and scored 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Marti Domingo chipped in 16 points. Four Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. Pardinyes-L.'s coach Gerard Encuentra allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Aleix Camprubi (193-87) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and guard David Lopez (184-89) scored 19 points and 4 assists. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Vic. Castellbisbal at the other side stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Cerdanyola and Salt. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
