Very important is a home loss of third ranked Levski 2014 (10-6) against sixth ranked Beroe (6-8) on Saturday night. Host Levski 2014 was crushed by Beroe in Sofia 96-75. The game without a history. Beroe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Beroe outrebounded Levski 2014 42-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Aleksandar Yanev-Georgiev (203-90, agency: 011 Sports) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Tihomir Zhelev (193-90) who added 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Beroe players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Aleksandar Milov (198-95) responded with 13 points and point guard Georgi Damyanov (180-99) scored 11 points. Levski 2014's coach Konstantin Papazov gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Beroe maintains sixth position with 6-8 record. Loser Levski 2014 keeps the third place with six games lost. Beroe will meet at home Cherno More (#7) in the next round. Levski 2014 will play against the league's leader Balkan (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
