Shanghai overcame Jiangsu to sweep the quarterfinal series. Shanghai Dahua dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu Phoenix's 32 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Jiangsu Phoenix 48-21 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Breanna Stewart (193-94, college: Connecticut) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). ShiChing Peng accounted for 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Russian forward Viktoriia Medvedeva (183-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and forward Jiayin Jiang (183-95) added 19 points respectively for Jiangsu Phoenix in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
