The game with biggest result difference took place in Debrecen. Local DEAC (6-12) lost to thirteenth ranked MAFC (4-14) 87-71. DEAC was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 49-29 second half run of MAFC. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. DEAC was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Toney McCray (196-89, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). The former international Marton Fodor (192-81) contributed with 28 points for the winners. Four MAFC players scored in double figures. American forward Isaiah Armwood (206-90, college: G.Washington) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for DEAC. MAFC maintains thirteenth position with 4-14 record. DEAC lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost. MAFC will play against higher ranked ZTE KK (#7) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. DEAC will play on the road against the league's second-placed Kormend (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
