Regular Season Round 16: Zrinjski HT - Borac 80-76

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Serbian Borac (11-5) in Mostar on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Bosnian Zrinjski HT (10-6) 80-76. Zrinjski HT dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Borac's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian guard Sven Smajlagic (195-90) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian forward Ivan Milicevic (204-95) who added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Zrinjski HT players scored in double figures. Zrinjski HT's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) responded with 16 points and Marko Stojadinovic (204-89) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Zrinjski HT have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vrsac. Borac at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Krka and KK Primorska. Zrinjski HT is looking forward to face Lovcen (#10) in Cetinje in the next round where they are favorite. Borac will play at home against Rogaska (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
