Bottom-ranked IA is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 18th consecutive match to fourth ranked Hamar (13-4) 112-54. The game without a history. Hamar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They were well out of reach of IA shooting 80.3 percent from the field and made 98-of-100 charity shots (98.0 percent) during the game, while IA only scored 77 points from the stripe. Hamar forced 37 IA turnovers and outrebounded them 112-86 including a 71-54 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 33 long-distance shots on high 57.9 percentage. Hamar players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 21 passes made by IA's players. 27 personal fouls committed by IA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Dovydas Strasunskas (198-93) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). American guard Larry Thomas (185-93, college: Birm.Southern) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals. Thomas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Hamar players scored in double figures. Point guard Sindri Ingason (183-0) produced 11 points and 7 rebounds and Fridrik Johannsson (-96) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hamar have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. IA at the other side still closes the standings. Hamar's next round opponent will be league's leader Skallagrimur in Borganes and it will be for sure the game of the week.
