BK Usti nad Labem (#5) was upset in Decin by eighth ranked BK Decin 75-64. The winners were led by the former international forward Tomas Pomikalek (200-89) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Ondrej Siska (190-93) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Even 24 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by American guard Donald Robinson (193-89, college: W.Virginia Tech) did not help to save the game for BK Usti nad Labem. Point guard Michal Sotnar (187-92) added 16 points and 7 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BK Decin (11-10) moved-up to seventh place. BK Usti nad Labem at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Svitavy. BK Decin will play against bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec (#12) in J.Hradec in the next round where they are favorite. BK Usti nad Labem will play at home against the league's leader CEZ Nymburk (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
