Very expected game when 14th ranked Pogon Prudnik (7-15) lost on the road to third ranked Sokol Lancut (17-5) 79-71 on Saturday. Sokol Lancut forced 21 Pogon Prudnik turnovers. Power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Marek Zywert (192-96) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) answered with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Pawel Bogdanowicz (197-87) added 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Pogon Prudnik. Four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sokol Lancut. They maintain third place with 17-5 record having four points less than leader Spojnia. Pogon Prudnik lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Sokol Lancut will face Kotwica (#10) in Kolobrzeg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pogon Prudnik will play on the road against Slask (#11) in Wroclaw and hope to win that game.
