Qatar Club rallied past Al Gharafa to clinch third place in the League. Qatar Sports Club looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Qatar Sports Club made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Nick West (208-94, college: Alabama A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import guard Daishon Knight (185-91, college: Illinois St.) contributed with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. International forward Sammy Monroe (198-85, college: Newberry) answered with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and international swingman Abdulrahman Saad (185-96) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Al Gharafa. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
