Regular Season Round 19: Den Bosch - Leeuwarden 90-79

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Den Bosch (13-3) defeated at home 6th ranked Leeuwarden (5-13) 90-79. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Leeuwarden was better in third quarter 30-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Four Den Bosch players scored in double figures. American guard Emile Blackman (190-94, college: Duquesne) answered with 32 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and the former international power forward Jeroen van der List (212-89, college: Indian Hills CC) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Leeuwarden. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Den Bosch. They maintain second place with 13-3 record having just three points less than leader Groningen. Leeuwarden lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. Den Bosch will play against league's leader Groningen at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Leeuwarden will have a break next round.
