It was a great evening for American swingman Nathan Gibbs (203-89, college: Westmont) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Chris Wurmseher (192-97) helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side forward Andreas Endig (198-78) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and center Uwe Kupfer-Zwingelberg (208-81) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Schwabing maintains eighth place in South-East with 7-9 record. GGZ Baskets lost their sixteenth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Schwabing will face higher ranked Gotha II (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. GGZ Baskets will play against Ansbach (#7) and hope to win that game.
