There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Omnia Basket (10-10) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked San Miniato (10-10) 69-57 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Antonio Brighi (190-96) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and naturalized Swiss Olivier Giacomelli (198-95, agency: Players Group) who added 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. San Miniato's coach Federico Barsotti used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Fabio Di-Bella (185-78) responded with 21 points and power forward Thomas De-Min (202-86) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. San Miniato moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with Desio and Forli Tigers. San Miniato will face Cecina (#10) at home in the next round.
