Regular Season Round 19: Eurotrend Biella - Legnano 74-77

The most exciting game of round 19 in the Serie A2 took place in Biella. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of much higher ranked Eurotrend Biella (13-6) to fifth ranked Legnano (11-7) 77-74 on Sunday evening. It was a great shooting night for Legnano especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American Nikolas Raivio (192-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Alessandro Zanelli (187-92) contributed with 22 points for the winners. The former international power forward Amedeo Tessitori (208-94) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (199-85, agency: Octagon Europe) added 7 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Eurotrend Biella. Eurotrend Biella's coach Michele Carrea rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Legnano moved-up to fourth place in A2. Eurotrend Biella at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Legnano are looking forward to face Latina Basket (#7) on the road in the next round. Eurotrend Biella will play against Eurobasket Roma (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
