Important game to mention about took place in Ostrava. Third ranked SKB Zlin (10-8) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Ostrava (8-10) 78-76 on Sunday evening. Strangely Ostrava outrebounded SKB Zlin 40-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. Swingman Michal Jedovnicky (194-95) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Jan Krutilek (189-95) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by J Zikl did not help to save the game for Ostrava. Forward Tomas Havlik (190-99) added 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Ostrava players scored in double figures. Ostrava's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SKB Zlin maintains third position in East with 10-8 record having just three points less than leader Slavoj Litom. Ostrava at the other side dropped to the seventh place with ten games lost. They share the position with Sokol Slapanice.
