Regular Season Round 36: Shanxi BD - Guangsha L. 116-126

CBA top team - Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (30-6) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Brave Dragons (15-21) in Taiyuan 126-116. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Brave Dragons helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: 3Eye) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists. International center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 16-of-21 shooting from the field) for the winners. Argentinian-Spanish power forward Luis Scola (206-80) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds and international guard LingXu Zeng (193-87) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for Brave Dragons. Four Zhejiang Guangsha Lions and five Brave Dragons players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 30-6 record. Brave Dragons at the other side dropped to the thirteenth place with 21 games lost. They share the position with Fujian S. and Jiangsu TX MK. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions are looking forward to face Fly Dragons (#12) in Beijing in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Brave Dragons will play on the road against Jiangsu Dragons in Nanjing and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
