An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Boras. Third ranked Boras Basket faced second-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins. Host Boras Basket (11-9) defeated guests from Norrkoping (14-6) 65-57. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Norrkoping Dolphins. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 18-8. But Norrkoping Dolphins won second period 18-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Norrkoping Dolphins 53-39 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Andreas Person (190-91) who scored 15 points and 5 assists. American forward Brett Bisping (203-93, college: Siena, agency: Duran International) chipped in 9 points and 14 rebounds. The former international center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points, 18 rebounds and 6 blocks and the former international Mikael Lindquist (193-83) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Boras Basket maintains third position with 11-9 record having five points less than leader BC Lulea. Norrkoping Dolphins at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. Boras Basket are looking forward to face KFUM Jamtland (#5) in Ostersund in the next round. Norrkoping Dolphins will play at home against Uppsala Basket and are hoping to win this game.
