There was no surprise when 16th ranked Cocinas.com (6-16) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Lleida Basquet (10-12) 70-62. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 14-8 Cocinas.com's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 70-62 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian-Jamaican point guard Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178-91, college: Calgary) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 assists. Marc Marti (204-97) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Tre Coggins (190, college: CS Fullerton) added 12 points in the effort for Cocinas.com. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lleida Basquet moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Araberri. Cocinas.com at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. Lleida Basquet's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Sammic ISB (#18) in Azpeitia and are hoping to win another game.
