Regular Season Round 21: Usti n/Labem - CEZ Nymburk 59-86

NBL top team - CEZ Nymburk (21-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked BK Usti nad Labem (11-10) 86-59. BK Usti nad Labem was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Alex Davis (206-92, college: Fresno St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Kendrick Ray (188-94, college: Kennesaw St., agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 15 points. Four CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) with 8 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Donald Robinson (193-89, college: W.Virginia Tech) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CEZ Nymburk have an impressive series of twenty one victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 21-0 record. BK Usti nad Labem at the other side dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. CEZ Nymburk will play against bottom-ranked BK Lions Hradec (#12) in J.Hradec in the next round which should be another easy win for them. BK Usti nad Labem will play on the road against BK Opava (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
