Important game to mention about took place in Shumen. Top-ranked BUBA (4-0) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging bottom-ranked Shumen (0-4) 78-75 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. BUBA forced 19 Shumen turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Aleksandar Milov (198-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Ivan Alipiev (200-99) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side power forward Andrey Ivanov (206-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 20 rebounds and swingman Milen Cholakov (193-0) scored 15 points. Shumen's coach zvonko Papak rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted BUBA maintains first position in A with 4-0 record. Shumen at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. BUBA will play against Beroe-2 (#5) in Stara Zagora in the next round. Shumen will play on the road against Athletic Sofia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
