Second Stage Round 4: Balkan 2 - CSKA 66-84

An interesting game for CSKA (4-0) which played road game in Botevgrad against 4th ranked Balkan 2 (1-3). Top-ranked CSKA had an easy win 84-66. It was a very good performance for point guard Aleksandar Anguelov (183-99) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 assists. Power forward Robert Georgiev (187-98) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. CSKA's coach Jordan Kolev allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Aleksandar Iliev (196-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Rumen Vasilev (205-96) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Balkan 2. Five CSKA and four Balkan 2 players scored in double figures. CSKA maintains first position in A with 4-0 record. Newly promoted Balkan 2 dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. CSKA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Sofia to the arena Akademik Sofia.
