Another exciting game where Basket Kosice (12-7) edged by one point Olomouc Bbal (11-8) 74-73. They outrebounded Olomouc Bbal 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jan Kratochvil (200-82) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds. Slovakian forward Miroslav Vansa (197-87) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Moldovan forward Evgeni Scripcaru (195-83) answered with 10 points and 7 rebounds and Martin Novak (199-93) added 6 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Olomouc Bbal. Four Olomouc Bbal players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Basket Kosice will play against SKB Zlin (#6) on the road in the next round. Olomouc Bbal will play against Vysocina and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
