Regular Season Round 23: Bipa Basket - Dnipro 68-75

Superleague top team - Dnipro (21-2) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat sixth ranked Bipa Basket (8-14) in Odessa 75-68. Dnipro looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Stanislav Tymofeyenko (204-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Volodymyr Shevchenko (196-94) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. American swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-94, college: Cent.Florida, agency: AproK Sports Group) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and forward Igor Krivtsov (201-86) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Bipa Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dnipro have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 21-2 record. Bipa Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 14 games lost. Dnipro are looking forward to face Khimik (#4) in Yuzhny in the next round. Bipa Basket will play at home against Politekhnik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
